iPad - come to Mamma!

I am so blessed - I have been given an iPad as a gift from 1 of our suppliers.

Last year iPod Touch - this year iPad.

I cannot wait to get it - coming from France....

New House

After a lot of searching and a bit of mini drama - Tee and I have finally found a house. Number 13 - my lucky number

I am super excited to actually have a house - not on another person's property, with no crying babies and drilling and bashing on a weekend at 7am.

We have a huge garden for the kitty cats (my Squeaky & her McGyver) and I hope they will become friends.
We have a study, a lounge and a mini dining area and 2 lock up garages with lots of guest parking (everything I do not have where I currently live)

My room is really very tiny, but as long as my bed fits in I will be happy - there is extra closest space in the study to fit all my extra clothes.

Tee and I are saving to go to Thailand, and by sharing a house we will also be able to split expenses and hopefully save some money.
I will also be travelling alot for work, so I am glad that Squeaky will have someone to look after him while I am away and I know Tee will give him love when I am not there.

Things I am going to miss about living alone: I can't walk around naked if I feel like it. ha ha ha - not a bad compromise.

Remember When - Murder She Wrote

  

When I was a little girl, we used to settle down in front of the TV and enjoy this murder mystery series.

Wherever Jessica Fletcher went - there was always a murder!

I dug up a recent photo of her (she is still acting in movies & theatre) as well as some really interesting facts:

Born 16 October 1925

Her daughter, Deirdre, had reportedly been briefly involved with the Manson Family.

Her son Anthony Shaw, after a brief fling with acting, became producer/director of Murder, She Wrote and currently is a television executive and director.

Both her brothers, twins Bruce and Edgar, are successful theater producers: Edgar Lansbury, Jr. was instrumental in bringing Godspell to Broadway and Bruce Lansbury was a television producer for such shows as The Wild Wild West and Mission: Impossible

Lansbury has received eighteen Emmy Award nominations over a thirty-three-year period, and holds the record for the most losses by a performer

Now look at how stunning she was as a young actress:

She is scheduled to co-star in Mr. Popper's Penguins opposite Jim Carrey and Adeline opposite Katherine Heigl. Both films are to be released in 2011
