Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

My friend's baby shower went off without a hitch.

After trying for over 3 years - they gave up on ever having a baby. When they had made peace with this fact - Ta Da! Pregnant!
I jokingly told TT that it was the countdown to the end of our friendship. We have been friends since we were 5.
She actually asked me to plan her shower for her. I had left it up to some of her closer friends, but I am honoured that she asked me, and as busy as I have been (work, packing to move, buying new stuff for the house) I always love an excuse to plan an event.

The day started off rainy, but cleared up to become a beautiful sunny day for us to set up in the garden (as we had originally planned)

I sprinkled Crunchie on top of the cupcakes to resemble stardust - the humidity ruined the effect a bit, but it is the thought that counts!

In sticking with the blue and green colour scheme, I made collars for the welcome drinks (passion fruit & lemonade)
I need to get myself a PA for all these clever ideas. Fun to look at, not so much fun to make late at night!

Thank goodness the favours were made a long time ago with the help of my mom!

One does not need alot of money - just some clever ideas (and someone to help execute them)
