Feeling down

I have been having a hard time lately.

I seem to be going through a low patch and have been struggling with my confidence alot.

My health is on a low point (kidneys, ear and now broken tooth today (I suspect that this has something to do with eating toast for dinner for over a month now.)

I cant seem to find the energy to do anything except sleep. (and I suspect that this has something to do with the fact that I am anaemic and not taking my tablets is not helping) yeah yeah I can hear the speech formulating.... it doesnt help.

I have learnt that everything is all about mindset. 

Losing weight, taking my tablets again... I need to get my mind right before I can do anything about it.

I'll think about it...... (that is about all I have energy for anyway)

Anyway - on that note I want to give a special thank you to each and every one of you guys who read my blog and leave comments.

You uplift me and no matter how mad I am feeling - you guys have the ability to cheer me up.

To Claudz and SwissTwist - you guys have been having tough times as well - just know that I am with you, because I understand.

*New Challenge - The Write Stuff*

Yes everybody - I promised a new challenge and here it is!

This is slightly different in that it will take a lot longer and it is only 1 installment long.

I love the written word (I think we all have this in common) & that is what inspired me to create this challenge.

With the evolution of modern technology, we have instant access to the net where we can email, blog and Tweet and facebook.

Whatever happened to the written word.... written with a pen on a piece of paper?

The challenge is to get out your pen and a piece of paper and write a note!

A page or 2 with 1 of your favourite quotes and whatever else takes your fancy.

Randomly Me

Random Facts about Me:

• I can only sleep on my tummy - otherwise I can't fall asleep. (What on earth am I going to do when I fall pregnant?)
• I only type with 2 fingers - but I type quite fast
• I never seem to hold the Shift key in long enough for an 'i' to become 'I'. I always have to go back and change it, sometimes I am too lazy to change it - you will see that often!
• I hate waste. So much so that I squeeze every last bit of toothpaste out of the tube and use every last bit of creams, shampoos etc. It is frustrating, but I cant throw anything away until it is totally empty
• I am so used to my Blackberry inserting apostrophes for me, that I forget to do it when I am typing!
• I am pedantic about the toilet paper rolling underneath - not from the top.
• I am hoping that one day the Marilyn Monroe figure comes into fashion again - then I am going to be so "happening"
• I can change a tyre faster than any F1 Pit crew member
• The problem with putting on so much weight on my stomach is that now my boobs no longer hold my top off my stomach! I have a whole new set of problems when I buy clothes now (good thing I have stopped buying clothes until I am debt free) 
• I often forget what I am thinking about
• I often forget what I am thinking about
• I love blogging so much that I am slightly neglecting my reading.

Weekend? Where? When?

Another weekend bites the dust. My weekend was very enjoyable. and short.

My weekend picks are:

Best breakfast:
Primi Piatti - Hashbrown Stack with Bacon, cheddar cheese and cherry tomato with optional fried egg

Best Coffee:
Cafe Latte at Primi - it is a massive cup of coffee. Awesome!!

Great Movie:
The Socereres Apprentice - a Disney movie with a predictable ending, but very enjoyable

My new want:
Awesome shoes from Aldo that make me drool - excuse the blurry photo - I was shaking with excitement I just couldnt get it clear enough!

My pat on the back:
After the disappointing planning of the fashion show I went to on Friday night - I realised that I am really good at organising events.

My Advice:
When hosting a fashion show and all the media are there - make sure the clothes at least fit the models. Modelling a dress that is only halfway zipped up and model is falling out of said dress - not cool.

Good mood song:

Fence sitting:
Started watching Season 1 of The Vampire Diaries and can't figure out whether or not I like it after 2 episodes.
I am a Supernatural addict through and through and it will take alot to displace my loyalties.
